We can breathe a sigh of relief. The siege on our “Explore” page by Ski Influencers should be tapering off. There will be a vacuum for groomer-skiing content and we should all be grateful. Intermediate ski runs at the most expensive resorts will be able to avoid over-use until December.
It’s hard work traveling around the world while shamelessly plugging any sponsor willing to respond to your DM. Ski Influencers are feeling the effects of pushing shitty mass produced equipment to the unassuming populous. Furthermore, many ski companies are not sure which snake oil to bring to market next season. There are a lot of things up in the air as the Influencers go down for their long nap.
“Thanks everyone, big things happening in the 22/23 season!”

The hyperphagia is starting to dwindle. Whichever protein powder they’ve decided to align with has been consumed. The diet supplements that give you diarrhea have been shelved. Now only pictures remain of the brunch they had in Jackson Hole. With stomachs full and puffy vests donned the Influencers have started their denning process. Many will hole up in a Ram ProMaster for several months to bide time until their content becomes relevant again. Let’s just hope that they don’t transition to National Park content.
Spring brings rebirth. Enjoy these months of solace.
