The end of an era — the Kavu rope bag has fallen out of favor in Mountain Towns across the US. Once a staple for every PBR swigging raft guide’s girlfriend. The rope bag now dominates Facebook Marketplace and discount sites.
Concurrent market research has led us to the timely death of this icon. While scouring Facebook Marketplace for some used waffle irons we came across the discovery. Further investigation shows the bag appearing on Sierra.com (Outdoor TJ Maxx) and other outlet sites. The unstructured satchel used to convey a sense of freedom and individuality. No longer, the sack has likely been replaced by trendier, more compact options like the fanny pack.
